Today, July 3, an explosion-fire and a major car accident took place in Yerevan. At around 03:15 a.m., a "Toyota" car was traveling along Tamantsineri Street near the Factory Metro, and a fire broke out in the interior of the car due to a gas leak.
According to information from Shamshyan.com, 19-year-old Arthur H., 20-year-old Hrant H., and 20-year-old Karen A., a resident of Ararat region, were transferred to Yerevan National Center of Burns as a result of an explosion-fire and a car accident.
As a result of the explosion and fire, the "Toyota" collided with the "Nissan Rogue" car parked in the permitted section of the road, and the fire spread to the said car as well.
Firefighters extinguished the fire, but the Toyota was completely turned into a pile of ashes, and the Nissan Rogue became unusable, the rear part was completely burned.
It was found out on the spot that the car accident happened as a result of explosion and fire.
According to the fact of the incident, criminal proceedings were initiated in the investigation department, where the identity of the car owners and the driver of the Toyota is being ascertained.
According to the instruction of the investigator, the cars will be moved to a special area guarded by the Shengavit police department.
