As a result of the investigations carried out by the Lori Marz Prosecutor's Office, with the mediation of the Lori Marz Petarana, it was found that the 22 subjects who leased and actually own the areas of the Park named after Hrant Matevosyan of Vanadzor are using them in violation of contracts and not for purpose. As a result, the park is in a state of disrepair. This was reported by the General Prosecutor's Office.
As a result of the studies carried out in the prosecutor's office of Lori region, a petition was sent to the Vanadzor community hall in order to resolve the lease and free use contracts signed with the above-mentioned 22 entities.
As a result of the petition, on June 25, 2026, the right of an individual to lease a plot of land with an area of 150 square meters and a value of 1 million 577 thousand AMD was terminated. the plot was returned to the community.
The Prosecutor's Office informed that as a result of the intervention of the prosecutor's office, another plot of land with a total area of 1389.7 square meters in the park was returned to the possession of the Vanadzor community, whose cadastral value approximated to the market value is 35 million 133 thousand drams.
Work on the resolution of other contracts is in progress.
