The EU must get rid of its inferiority complex and increase military production if Donald Trump wins the US presidential election, French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barro has said.
"Europe must overcome its inferiority complex, wake up and become stronger. This is a simple idea that France has been promoting for 7 years, and now the time has come for it to be implemented," Barro replied.France 2:TV when asked if he feared cuts to EU defense and military aid if Trump won.
According to him, France is ready to work with any US president.
"We will work with the president whom the Americans will choose. In 2017-2020, we worked with the Trump administration and we are ready to work with his new administration," the minister said.
