Trump: If Iran abandons the deal, its oil infrastructure will be destroyed

US President Donald Trump has announced that the US is ready to destroy Iran's power plants and oil infrastructure if Tehran refuses to come to an agreement with them. He noted that the United States is trying to reach an agreement with the new leadership of Iran.

"The new group of Iranian leaders is less radical and much more cautious. However, if we do not reach an agreement during this period, we will continue to focus our attention on the main targets. If there is no agreement, we will hit all their power plants very hard," he said in a televised address to his compatriots from the White House. "We didn't hit their oil facilities, even though it's the easiest target of all, because that would leave them no chance of survival or recovery.

But we could strike and everything would be destroyed and they wouldn't be able to do anything about it," Trump said.
