"Fact" daily writes:
It was Palm Sunday. Thousands and thousands of Armenian Christians went to the churches for the Holy Liturgy. People just went to church. They did not plan that Pashinyan, who declared war against the Armenian Apostolic Church, would come with his bodyguards and rush into the crowd of believers in the middle of the liturgy. The consequence: a struggle, an attempt to hit, a hit by one of the bodyguards to the face of one of the attendees, a stampede, insulting words, people detained, three arrested, criminal proceedings...
Surely, many people have seen the videos and publications about the incident and its various episodes that happened on Sunday in the Saint Anna Church in Yerevan on the Internet, on various social networking platforms. But before moving on to what we have to say, let us clearly record the following. no matter how natural the society's reaction is to the authorities that are problematic and do not serve the interests of Armenia and the Armenian people, physical violence, even attempting it, is not permissible.
In addition, judging by everything, it seems that the representatives of the Pashinyan government are trying to "get" just such manifestations in order to have excuses for resorting to repressions against society, resorting to police "bespredel" and creating a fake image of "thirst for blood". Well, what did Nikol Pashinyan do? The public opinion here is that it was a provocation. Clear, conscious, targeted provocation. In general, even before the 2021 elections, let's say even after that, many people noticed that Pashinyan could organize some provocations in order to present himself to the public as a victim. And why do many describe what happened as a provocation? We think the hallmarks of making such an assessment are obvious.
See: For almost a year now, Nikol Pashinyan and his "front row" hoodlums have been insulting the spiritual leaders of the Armenian Apostolic Church in the most extreme ways and expressions, practically waging war against the Armenian Apostolic Church, persecuting popular and authoritative high-ranking spiritual fathers, arresting and imprisoning them. In the meantime, let us record that, despite all these repressions and pressures, Pashinyan has clearly failed in his campaign against the Church.
But in this case, the important thing is that in the context of all this, another Nikol Pashinyan, surrounded by bodyguards and "civilian dressed" operas, enters a church in the center of Yerevan, and especially at a time when the Liturgy has already started and the church is full. In other words, Nikol Pashinyan, knowing wonderfully that inside the church it is not the "people" brought or staged by his preachers, but the real people, "enters" into the crowd.
He goes in knowing full well that the vast majority of the public, 65-70 percent according to various polls, directly disapproves of him, if not hates him. The majority of the public leaves the shores just hearing the name of Nikol Pashinyan and CP. What else is it, then, if not the most direct provocation? In other words, he himself wants "something to happen", otherwise why is he cramming into a full church, knowing the extremely negative attitude of most of the Armenian people towards him. By the way, it is noteworthy, according to which articles the government repressive bodies initiated a "case". In addition to "hooliganism" which has become standard (Part 1 of Article 297), one more part 3 of Article 452 was added, that is, "interfering with the legal service or political activities of an official".
We are not saying this, the Ministry of Internal Affairs serving Pashinyan's government is saying this. A question arises. What "legal service" or "political activity" was the reason for Pashinyan's entry into the church? Since when did going to church become a "political activity"? It turns out that Pashinyan's "law enforcement bodies" accept and record that going to church in Pashinyan's case is exclusively a "political activity". In short, even Pashinyan's Ministry of Internal Affairs admitted that what happened was a "political action", understandably by their leader. There is another important layer to what has been done that cannot be overlooked. Apart from the disasters and destruction that Pashinyan and his covert team have brought to the country and people, they have also been sowing hatred and enmity for years.
And even from "that chapter" it was obvious that not only others will reap its fruits, but they will also reap them. The fact that people warned years ago not to sow such "winds" in order not to reap a "storm", they did not listen. Now they are forced to listen. Moreover, with what happened, we were once again convinced that Nikol Pashinyan, in addition to having nothing to say, also has nothing to offer except hatred, bile, hostility. Both what happened to him and the manifestations related to various masked people, near-masked people, show that without a staged, fake "grandfather", "grandmother", "horkur", "morkurs", they cannot "come out in public" calmly and freely.
In other words, they need bodyguards, bodyguards, uniformed or non-uniformed policemen, guards... And you don't need to look for "traces", "customers", you don't know what to look for in all that.
Pashinyan himself raises amazing "hypotheses" that he organized so-and-so and so-and-so. It's funny and comical. Especially since two of the suspects are twin brothers, schoolmates (high school students). Secondly, in order to organize something, you need to know in advance where, for example, Pashinyan will go.
And his move the day before, we are sure, was a surprise even for his bodyguard. Thirdly, it is already the umpteenth time that Pashinyan and the hoodlums meet in sharp contrast on the street, as soon as there are non-theatricalized, "not brought" persons around them. And then, if the hoodlums are looking for an organizer and culprit for what happened (what happened), we can help them to some extent to see that organizer.
For that, they just have to stand in front of the mirror. Do you understand, Pashinyan and the government led by him have done ten times more than any opposition figure and force to deserve the current attitude and rejection?
And as if they didn't do much, now they are threatening everyone and they prefer not to just leave, but more than that, they are making a bid to stick to the government, they are threatening war if they are not elected. It's all unpleasant and gloomy. However, what can be pleasant in agony, even if it is political agony?
