From now on, our focus will also be on the declarations of judges in order to present to the public what property, income, funds, loans and credit obligations they have. This time, we have studied the property of Yerevan Civil Court Judge Ashot Hovhannisyan.
At the time of assuming office, Ashot Hovhannisyan’s declaration did not mention real estate and vehicles. In the declaration submitted as of the day of assuming office in 2021, Ashot Hovhannisyan declared a total income of 109 million 651 thousand 933 drams. Of this amount, 64 million 347 thousand drams comprised income from the alienation of property.
In addition, 37 million 949 thousand 950 drams were declared in the form of loans received from "Ardshinbank" CJSC, of which 500 thousand drams and 37 million 449 thousand 950 drams were indicated in separate transactions. The income received from "Ardshinbank" CJSC in the form of wages and other payments equivalent to it amounted to 5 million 703 thousand 298 drams. The payment received from the "Russian-Armenian Humanitarian Response Center" MOCO for rent amounted to 663 drams, and 1 million 651 thousand 22 drams were received from the RA State Revenue Committee in the form of other income.
As of September 25, 2021, Ashot Hovhannisyan declared 20 million drams, 100 thousand US dollars and 15 thousand euros in cash. He had another 189 thousand 44 drams and 4 thousand US dollars in bank accounts. The judge also had bonds of "Ardshinbank" CJSC, the value of which as of the date of assuming office was 27 million 165 thousand 105 drams. According to the declaration, at the time of assuming office, Ashot Hovhannisyan also had loan obligations.
Their principal balance amounted to a total of 37 million 773 thousand 557 drams, of which 37 million 277 thousand 840 drams were related to the purchase of an apartment, and 495 thousand 717 drams were presented as a separate loan obligation. 2025 In the 2025 declaration, Ashot Hovhannisyan did not declare any real estate or vehicles. At the beginning of 2025, the judge's bank account balance amounted to 1 million 922 thousand 224.1 drams, and at the end of the year - 1 million 401 thousand 224.8 drams. In terms of cash, at the beginning of the year, Ashot Hovhannisyan declared 110 thousand dollars, 22 million 500 thousand drams and 16 thousand 500 euros.
At the end of the year, his dollar cash decreased to $80,000, while his dram cash increased to 28 million 500 thousand drams, and his euro cash increased to 18 thousand euros. That is, during the year, his dollar cash decreased by $30,000, his dram cash increased by 6 million drams, and his euro cash increased by 1,500 euros. At the same time, as of December 31, 2025, the principal balance of the loan received by Ashot Hovhannisyan amounted to 34 million 671 thousand 965 drams.
