According to Qian Kun, senior vice president of Qualcomm Technology, 2026 will be crucial for the standardization of the sixth generation (6G) of mobile communication. He emphasized that artificial intelligence is moving from scientific research to profound transformation of industries and production, creating new opportunities.
Qiang Kun noted that artificial intelligence is "rebuilding the human-machine interface" and improving the user experience. According to him, 2026 will be the year of rapid development of smart systems, and 6G will be standardized during this year.
Qualcomm Technology has already reached an agreement with 60 partners around the world (a third of them are Chinese manufacturers) and approved a plan for the gradual introduction of 6G commercial systems from 2029.
