"Fact" daily writes:
An episode that happened during one of Nikol Pashinyan's regional visits is actively spreading on social networks. The video shows how he talks to a child and asks if you will go to the elections, who will you vote for? The minor child says, "as if 29 percent will vote for you," to which Pashinyan responds, "it's not enough, they should vote for 65."
At first glance, it may seem that this is just an innocent conversation with a child. They can also say that he made a joke, he knows very well that the child does not have the right to choose. However, the problem is not even that, but that in the political environment, such episodes often receive a different perception.
Pashinyan often "meets" with children. Well, meeting, meeting, but the problem is that such videos are actively shared on social networks. The involvement of children in the electoral and political processes is simply unacceptable and contradicts the principle that minors should be excluded from the political struggle.
Children cannot be part of the preaching process, even if it all happens in a conversational or joking format.
If a similar episode were to happen with the participation of any other political force, the representatives of the government would probably be the first to tear out the throats announcing the attempts to involve children in politics. Moreover, if something like this happened in the past, the opposition and various NGOs would tear themselves apart. And now actually... is it possible?
Naturally, you can't. Although at first glance this episode may seem like a normal conversation, its wide distribution and content again raises an important question. children should be completely excluded from political struggle and pre-election discussions, and their use for political purposes is unacceptable and condemnable.
