Davit Sanasaryan writes:
Expected for many of you
"Yesterday, the court announced the verdict of acquittal in my case." And that "my case" lasted 7 years, although from the beginning, I think, there was no rational being who, knowing me, doubted my absolute fairness.
Behaviors of some people pass before my eyes, which cannot fit into my ideas about humanity.
Involuntarily, I remember an episode from Nikol Pashinyan's press conference six years ago, when in response to a journalist's question, the head of the country, putting his political authority under that statement, announced: "I rule out that the examination will be non-objective." The judgment of the court has now shown that this trust was not justified. The objectivity of the examination cannot depend on the credibility of the prime minister or his political statement.
The state does not work with the logic of "I trust - I don't trust". The state works with institutions, evidence and responsibility. Today, the court clearly stated that the accusation was unfounded and acquitted me. Now one question remains: will there be political or even individual courage to say publicly? "I was wrong." I personally don't need it. But the state needs it. It is necessary that tomorrow the same mechanism does not affect someone else's fate.
Personally, I don't expect to be asked or apologized to. I am not a judge. the final real Judge from heaven has seen, sees and will see everything. They can ask Him for relief of the soul for what they have done and what they have not done.
Perhaps it should not be mentioned about Arsen Torosyan and, according to him, "personnel checker" Vanetsyan, but they are also human.
Arsen Torosyan, whose testimony during the preliminary investigation and the trial contradicted each other, it is interesting how he slept all these years, knowing that he took seven years from my personal and political life with slander. Will it turn red at least? And also, those CP members who ruled out that a case could be "done" in "New Armenia" according to their wording, but in fact directly or indirectly violated the presumption of innocence by reading a verdict against me even before the trial. That's what the Nairizarians did when Bakunts was in prison. Let me repeat, one eye from above sees everything, from the Triple Cloud to the string of slanders.
In the interview with Mrs. Seyranyan, Artur Vanetsyan accused me, as if "I'm sorry for accusing him", and said: "I shouldn't spill bile on her".
Wake up, now will you have the courage to publicly apologize to the public for lying? In your interview, you accused me of "spending bile". I have no gall. And if I ever have to pour regrets on the Chekists, they don't deserve that either.
We will meet in the political arena, I will look straight into your eyes.
There is another episode that I didn't want to talk about after the war. neither I had a heart, nor the public. But since they are still trying to play with my name on that topic, I have to say. They also tried to drag me through the doors of the police, investigation and court in the case of the car accident involving the child.
And for those who don't know, let me mention: I was acquitted by the Court of Cassation in that case. my guilt was absent. How much consistent malice one must have to fall after someone who, if he couldn't do one thing, it was not being able to live and work according to the law of the pack. My brother Vahan Teryan was right when he said: "Everything is in Armenian literature, only the man is not." Now we need to look for that Person and People in our political class.
I am not angry even today, as I was not angry seven years ago, when this case was solved. I only regret that in 2018, the thirst for justice cherished among the people was not only not satisfied, but also took on new dimensions. But today, against specific frameworks and for the sake of Armenia, judge Davit Balayan published a judgment that was justice, justified, argued, with specific references. Even if the prosecutor's office appeals this decision, everyone already understands that they will not make a decision on their own.
PS: And once again, I thank all those citizens, officials, my dear lawyers Arsen Sardaryan, Inessa Petrosyan and Arpi Gevorgyan, the honest witnesses in my case, as well as almost all the employees of the State Control Service, who never doubted Davit Sanasaryan, whom they knew, and supported them during this unpleasant journey, directly or publicly," Sanasaryan wrote.
