I was in the Yerevan detention center (detainee detention center) for several hours early in the morning.
While I had planned to visit Aghvan Arshakyan and Hayk Nikoghosyan, who were arrested the day before, after midnight we received news that three more citizens were detained in Erebuni department on the same fabricated suspicion and operative data. "All night my colleague Mher Sahakyan was with them at the police station. He informed Dawn that they are also being arrested. Already in the morning, it was found out in the yard of the police station that four more citizens, including the victim's father, were arrested from the Arabkir department. At the moment, in Adyunk, 9 citizens are found in the Erebuni DZPV, whose "sin" is one thing: they express their opposition to these authorities and their policies.

All of them were brought into custody and arrested illegally in the same scenario: they stop the cars and show that there is operative information about the possession of illegal weapons.
They delay the search of the car for a whole day, then in case of denial of this information, they either release them, or the investigators, using their right to arrest for 72 hours, unnecessarily continue to deprive the opposition figures of their freedom. This speaks of the fears of the government.
