Trump campaign files lawsuit against Pennsylvania authorities

The campaign headquarters of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump and vice presidential candidate J.D. Vance filed a lawsuit against Bucks County in Pennsylvania, accusing local authorities of illegally preventing voters from entering polling stations, which, according to the campaign, is a violation of the rights of state residents.

According to the headquarters, voters began to be turned away from polling stations as early as 2:30 p.m., despite the fact that everyone who stood in line before 5:00 p.m. was guaranteed the opportunity to apply to receive a ballot by mail.

The headquarters emphasized that such actions are contrary to the law and are an example of voter suppression. The day before in Washington, Vice President Kamala Harris spoke of “threats to democracy from Republicans,” while, according to Republicans, her allies in Pennsylvania are preventing voters from exercising their legal right to vote.

"This is illegal. This is vote suppression by Democrats. We will defend every legal vote in Pennsylvania. Vote and stay in line!" - the Trump and Vance campaign said in a released statement.
