The chairman of the "My Mighty Community" party, formed by former community leaders, is no longer Spartak Tartikyan. The party's congress was held in July, and in August they registered the change: Sargis Ghazaryan, the son of the former administrative head of the Yeghegnavan community of Ararat, Hovsep Ghazaryan, was elected chairman.
In a conversation with us, Tartikyan noted that his resignation from the post of chairman was due to other workloads, but he is by his political team's side, will support them in any issue, but has also left the council and will not engage in party activities at this stage.
To our question whether the repressions and criminal cases carried out by the authorities have in any way influenced his decision, Tartikyan replied: "Why do I look like such a scared boy?"
