A US military base at the Al-Omar oil field near the city of Deir ez-Zor in eastern Syria was attacked by drones, a local source told RIA Novosti.
"Four drones attacked the American base from the northeast side. They were aimed at objects inside the base and hit these objects directly," the source said.
