Law enforcers declare that the murder of Valodya Grigoryan is a vendetta, but his relatives do not agree and are not satisfied with the course of the preliminary investigation. Let us remind that the residents of Merdzavan, Narek Ohanyan and Gevorg Harutyunyan, are detained.
Ohanyan was charged with aiding murder, and Harutyunyan with murder, attempted murder and illegal arms trafficking. Those close to Grigoryan suspect that the former head of the Merdzavan community, Mher Akhtoyan, who left Armenia a few days before the incident, is "in charge" of this murder. One of the family members of the late community leader told us that Gevorg Harutyunyan, who is accused of murder, followed the "victim" for a long time to understand where he was going, what he was doing, he tried several times, but failed.
"He went after Valodya several times, but he could not kill him," said our interlocutor. Naturally, law enforcement officers refuse to provide details of the preliminary investigation.
