Mohammed Shia al-Sudani instructed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to contact the US side regarding this violation to protect and preserve the security and sovereignty of Iraq in accordance with the terms of the Strategic Framework Agreement on US Commitments.

Earlier, the Jordanian military command stated that its airspace was not used by Israeli planes to attack Iran. On the night of October 26, Israel carried out a series of airstrikes on Iranian military facilities in response to Tehran's missile attacks on Israel on October 1.

Hours after the attack, Israel announced that it had ended the strikes and achieved its goals. It was reported in Iran that the provinces of Ilam, Khuzestan and Tehran were hit, but the strikes were successfully repelled. As a result of the attack, 4 Iranian soldiers were killed.
