Firefighters are fighting a fire that engulfed the roof of a restaurant in the Kirovsky district of Samara; the fire area is 150 square meters, the press service of the Russian State Emergency Situations Directorate for the Samara Region told reporters.
“At 19.28 (18.28 Moscow time) a report was received of a fire in a restaurant at the address: Samara city district, Kirovsky district, 9th clearing, 5th line, 4. The arriving units found that the roof of the restaurant was on fire over an area of 150 square meters.” , the department said in a statement.
There were no dead or injured, no evacuation was carried out.
The fire was extinguished by 92 people and 34 pieces of equipment, including 53 people and 16 pieces of equipment from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.
