Azerbaijan and Armenia are interested in concluding a reconciliation agreement as soon as possible, said the Secretary General of the CIS, Sergey Lebedev. It corresponds to the interests of the entire CIS, including Armenia and Azerbaijan, Lebedev believes.

"Russia and Turkey are extremely interested in the stabilization of the situation in the South Caucasus, because it opens up great opportunities," he said. According to Lebedev, there are many proposals in this regard, both from Baku and Yerevan.

"The proposals are reasonable, because they are economically beneficial to all the countries of the region, including Russia and the neighbors of the Caspian Sea, Turkmenistan, as well as Iran, etc.," the CIS General Secretary added.
