Let's remind that after the arrest of Mamikon Aslanyan, the candidate elected in 2021, Pashinyan and his allies suspended the election of the community head with lawsuits, then by changing the law, Akan, who has a criminal reputation, was appointed as the head of the community, who was elected from HASK.
However, in reality, the DAAC lifted the ban, but the court ban was not lifted, Movses Shahverdyan's HASK appealed the decision of the DAAC, that while the court cases are pending, the ban on calling meetings by the Council of Elders should not be lifted, the DAAC reversed the decision.
If they did not appeal, then, according to the law, the council of elders should have elected a community leader from among its members within 20 days. Or if there was no session-voting, the council of elders would be dispersed and elections would be held. And after the appeal, the court hearings will drag on until the next election day.
This means that Nikol Pashinyan liked Aka so much, his value system is so close to him that he did not allow Mamikon Aslanyan to become the head of the community, but at any cost he keeps Aka in this position for 4 years and hopes that he will win the next elections with Arkady Peleshyan. Yesterday, the head of the National Security Council pretended that he was not aware of the court proceedings, he said that they have an authorized representative who deals with these issues.
And this means that the government uses not only Aka, but also HASK.
