"Zhoghovurd" daily writes:
"KP members who participate in expensive dinners with European figures and have a secret desire to apply for membership of the European Union continue to receive blows from the same European institutions.
As is known, this year the member states of the European Union decided to provide Armenia with 100 million euros of "non-lethal" military support from the European Peace Fund, but Hungary vetoed that decision. As a result, Armenia got nothing.
On this occasion, "Zhoghovurd" daily asked several questions to RA Minister of Foreign Affairs Ararat Mirzoyan to find out what steps the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs is taking to overcome the problem with Hungary and to receive the allocated funds as soon as possible, what are the results? We also asked how the reopening of the RA embassy in Hungary affected the Armenian-Hungarian relations and why RA Ambassador Haykak Arshamyan is unable to achieve tangible results in this matter.
The RA MFA gave a general, silent answer to the "Zhoghovurd" daily. "At the basis of RA-EU cooperation are many initiatives and programs, for the implementation of which mutual efforts are continuously invested.
Among them is the support provided to Armenia under the European peace instrument, which is of great importance, and on which discussions are ongoing both with the RA EU and the RA EU member states, including Hungary, in a bilateral format.
In other words, there is no result, no tangible solution to the problem. "efforts are being made." And on that way, the year 2025 passes, and Armenia is actually deprived of 100 million euros of support."
