"Fact" daily writes:
In recent days, a video spread on the Internet sheds new light on the international competition and the situation around Armenia. The video, which is believed to have been made by current or former employees of USAID, the US agency for international development, is a scathing criticism of its own leadership, accusing it of strategic mistakes and failure to curb British influence.
The authors of the clip say that for years they believed in their mission to support democracy, civil society and free elections in different countries, including Armenia. However, now they state that these programs have turned into a field of geopolitical struggle, where the USA is retreating, and Britain is gradually assuming the main role.
The video mentions that it was London that developed a "road map" for Armenia, which implies the final loss of Artsakh, the rapid "normalization" of relations with Turkey, and the use of Armenia as a military and political platform in regional competition. "The British are not interested in democracy or human rights. they are only interested in control and the spread of influence," the authors emphasize.
At the end of the video, there is a clear concern. Armenia has turned into a tool for the calculations of great powers. While the internal political struggle continues in Washington, our country becomes a theater of external influences, where decisions are often made not in Yerevan, but on the other side of the ocean.
All this reminds us of the bitter reality. Armenia continues to be a geopolitical testing ground, where they are already openly talking about our fate, but not for us.
