The "Independent Observer" bloc, represented by the "Helsinki Civil Assembly Vanadzor Office" and the "Union of Informed Citizens", will carry out an observation mission in the Georgian parliamentary elections to be held tomorrow, October 26.
According to the office, the mission consists of 18 Armenian observers who will monitor the voting and counting in 9 groups.
Before the elections, the observers met with the representatives of other international and local missions accredited in Georgia and the leadership of the central electoral administration of Georgia. Parliamentary elections in Georgia, as well as in Armenia, are the main (only) national elections. This time they will be held by a fully proportional electoral system, as a result of which the citizens of Georgia will elect 150 deputies of the legislature.
