Unknown persons attacked a military convoy in the suburbs of Grozny, one serviceman was killed, the press service of the Russian Guard for the North Caucasus Federal District told RIA Novosti.
"In the suburbs of Grozny, unknown persons attacked a military convoy. As a result of the shelling, one of the servicemen was killed and the second was wounded. The victim was taken to a medical facility, where he was provided with all the necessary assistance. There is no threat to life," the report says.
The search for intruders is underway, the agency's interlocutors clarified.
