Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan received a delegation led by the head of the US State Department's Europe and Eurasian Bureau Brendan Henhaen. The US Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Armenia Christina Quen was also present at the meeting.
Welcoming the guests, the Deputy Prime Minister highly assessed the agreements reached in Washington on August 8 and expressed hope that it will be possible to develop bilateral relations within the framework of the memorandums of understanding between the United States of America.
The interlocutors discussed regional developments and unblocking of communications, touched upon the importance of "Trump's Way for International Peace and Prosperity" project.
In this context, the head of the US State Department's Europe and Eurasian Bureau Brendan Henahen noted. "I am pleased to express it that working with Congress, we intend to provide $ 145 million to Armenia. This is the first part of the funding aimed at the implementation of the Trump's Way for the International Peace and Prosperity Profession and the August 8 agreement on the supply of trade, infrastructure, and the importance of investment in cross-border safety. "
