Iran denies accusations of interfering in US elections

Iran denies accusations of allegedly attempting to interfere in the American presidential elections; Tehran has no such motives, Iran's mission to the UN claims.

American authorities and the media periodically accuse Tehran of trying to interfere in the elections.

“Iran has already unequivocally and repeatedly stated that it has neither motives nor intentions to interfere in the US elections, and therefore it categorically rejects such accusations,” the Iranian mission said.

The US presidential election will take place on November 5, with Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Kamala Harris vying for the position.
