Erdogan named the number of dead and wounded in the terrorist attack in Ankara

The terrorist attack in Ankara killed four people and injured 14 others. Turkish President Recep Erdogan stated this, Interfax writes.

“We have four dead, four martyrs, 14 wounded,” the Turkish leader said at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin at the BRICS summit. Putin expressed condolences in connection with the terrorist attack in Ankara.

On October 23, a terrorist attack occurred in the capital of Turkey; an explosion occurred in the Kahramankazan district near the building of the Turkish corporation Turkish Aerospace Industries Inc. (TUSAŞ), which is developing the Turkish fifth-generation Kaan fighter, Anka attack drones, as well as modernizing F-16 fighters.

According to the Turkish television channel NTV, terrorists who arrived in a taxi entered the building of the enterprise and allegedly took hostages during the attack.

Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya said that two terrorists were eliminated. Previously, Turkish authorities introduced restrictions on media coverage of the terrorist attack in Ankara.
