In the Kazan Declaration, the BRICS countries recalled their national positions regarding the situation in Ukraine and its surroundings.

The Kazan declaration of the BRICS countries "Strengthening multilateralism for the sake of global fair development and security" was published on the website of the Kremlin.

"We recall the national positions on the situation in and around Ukraine, which have been outlined in relevant forums, including the UN Security Council and the UN General Assembly. We emphasize that all states must act in accordance with the purposes and principles of the UN Charter, in their integrity and interdependence. We note with satisfaction the relevant proposals on mediation and good offices, calling for a peaceful settlement of the conflict through dialogue and diplomacy," the document says.
