Cooperation in BRICS can destroy the hegemony of the dollar, which the USA has turned into a weapon and a tool of control over other countries. This was announced by the President of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian during a small session.

"Most of the countries of the world are now dissatisfied with the fact that the US uses the dollar as a weapon or a tool of control over other countries, as well as to solve their internal and financial problems.

The world views BRICS as a way to weaken the hegemony of the dollar and increase payments in national currencies," Pezeshkian was quoted as saying by his press service.

According to him, the BRICS countries are "the biggest producers of energy, food and other goods and at the same time the biggest consumers". "They have access to important communication and transit routes. This is a huge advantage that facilitates trade using national currencies," the president said.
