Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has arrived in Kazan to participate in the BRICS summit, the correspondent of "RIA Novosti" reports.

He was met at the airport by the head of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov. He treated Lukashenko to a national Tatar dish - chak-chak. Earlier, the "Пул первого" telegram channel, which is close to the press service of the head of state, reported that Lukashenko will participate in the 16th BRICS summit in the "BRICS plus/outreach" format.
