UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres arrived in Kazan to participate in the 16th BRICS summit. He was met by Kazan Mayor Ilsur Metshin at the airport of the capital of Tatarstan.

Earlier, the meeting of Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping took place in Kazan.

From October 22 to 24, the BRICS summit is taking place in the capital of Tatarstan. Representatives of 36 countries and six international organizations will participate in the Kazan events.
