The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry negatively commented on the decision of UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres to attend the BRICS summit in Kazan.
The Ukrainian department published a corresponding post on its social networks. The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry was especially outraged by the fact that Guterres ignored the conference in Switzerland previously initiated by the Kyiv regime.
“The UN Secretary General rejected Ukraine’s invitation to the first “peace summit” in Switzerland. He, however, accepted the invitation to Kazan.
This is the wrong choice,” TASS quoted a statement. Earlier, the Kremlin said that Guterres and Russian President Vladimir Putin in Kazan would discuss the Ukrainian crisis and the situation in the Middle East.
