“Preliminary information shows that none of the 11 candidates for the post of President of the Republic of Moldova received more than 50% of the votes of voters who took part in the elections. Accordingly, a second round of elections will be organized within two weeks,” she said. Based on the results of processing 98.56% of the protocols, the current President of Moldova, Maia Sandu, receives 42.07% of the votes in the elections, former Prosecutor General Alexander Stoianoglo, who criticizes Sandu for the policy of confrontation with Moscow, receives 26.27%. The leader of “Our Party” Renato Usatyi closes the top three with 13.72% of the votes.
