The presidential elections and the referendum on Moldova's membership in the European Union are being conducted with irregularities, declared the country's presidential candidate, former prime minister Vasiliy Tarlev. This is reported by TASS.

As Tarlev said, his team found out that medical staff in a number of hospitals and clinics collect ballots from patients en masse. According to him, this is done in order to falsify the results of the popular vote.

The politician promised to check those reports, because, according to him, on the eve of the vote, information was already spread in the press that Tarlev was excluded from the presidential race. The presidential candidate believes that this measure was taken in order to deprive him of some votes and thereby influence the course of the elections.
