The Russian president emphasized that the joint work of BRICS to accelerate socio-economic growth and sustainable development brings concrete, tangible results, actually contributes to improving the well-being and quality of life of ordinary citizens of member countries.

According to Putin, the numbers speak for themselves. He cited statistics according to which the combined GDP of the BRICS is more than 60 trillion dollars, and the total share in the world gross product confidently exceeds the corresponding indicator of the G7 and continues to grow: "In recent decades, the global GDP, the entire BRICS countries account for more than 40% of global economic growth. according to the results of this year, the average rate of economic growth in BRICS is predicted at the level of 4%.
