Moscow and Kiev delegations may meet soon, Turkish Foreign Minister has admitted

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has acknowledged that the conflicting parties over Ukraine will be "united" in the coming days.
On Sunday, Russian President Vladimir Putin applied to Russian and foreign media and offered Ukraine to resume direct talks without preconditions in Istanbul on May 15.

On May 11, US President Donald Trump called on the Kiev authorities to "immediately" agree to talks to the Russian President's proposal in Turkey. Zellensky, in turn, said that Putin will wait for Thursday in Turkey.

"I believe that the parties will come together in the coming days to reach a compromise. Now, as you know, the Ukrainian side first announces the need for a ceasefire, then negotiations, the Russian side announces the need for negotiations, then the ceasefire.

This is a normal process. We want the parties to unite and ensure the ceasefire. We hope that so is our work in this direction, "Fidan told a news conference in Ankara on Monday.
