Iran is keeping the trial of the attack on the Azerbaijani embassy in Tehran under control, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian announced in a meeting with Azerbaijani Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafayev.
"We will monitor this case until the legal procedures are completed," said the Iranian president. According to him, the development of relations with Azerbaijan is very important for Iran. It was noted that Iran welcomes the development of ties between the two countries in the field of transport, wanting to continue and develop cooperation in the fields of energy and agriculture.
Shahin Mustafayev, in turn, noted that Azerbaijan is also ready to develop cooperation with Iran in the fields of economy, trade, culture, transit, security and defense. Mustafayev invited the Iranian president to COP29, which will take place in Baku in the near future.
