The head committee of the European Parliament has approved the mechanism of providing a loan of 35 billion euros to Kyiv

The International Trade Commission of the European Parliament has approved the mechanism of granting a loan to Kiev in the amount of 35 billion euros, according to which its repayment will be carried out through the income received from Russian assets. TASS reports this with reference to the press service of the European Parliament.

Bert Lan, the deputy head of the commission, announced that the draft decision was adopted by the majority of votes without amendments.

Now the document must be approved in the session of the European Parliament, after which it must be approved by the Council of the EU.
