Iran stated that there are no red lines when protecting national interests

Iran has been making significant efforts in the past few days to prevent a full-scale war in the region, but will not make any compromises in protecting its citizens and national interests. This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic Abbas Araghchi.

"The United States has supplied a record amount of weapons to Israel. Now they are going to risk the lives of their soldiers by sending them to Israel to control American missile systems. We (Iran - TASS note) have made enormous efforts in recent days to contain a full-scale war in our region, I I am clear that we have no red lines when it comes to protecting our people and interests,” he wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian previously called on Israel to stop fighting in the Middle East. He stressed that the Israeli side is violating “all possible international agreements.”
