The Lebanese Ministry of Health reported the death of 60 people as a result of Israeli attacks over the past 24 hours

Lebanon's health ministry said Friday that 60 people were killed and 168 wounded in Israeli attacks in the past 24 hours, the Associated Press reported.

The ministry said it brings the total number of people killed in Lebanon over the past year in the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah to 2,229, with another 10,380 people injured.

The Lebanese Crisis Response Team also recorded 57 airstrikes and shellings in the same 24 hours, mostly in southern Lebanon, the southern suburbs of Beirut and the Bekaa Valley.

Some 1,032 centers, including educational complexes, vocational institutes, universities and other institutions, are currently sheltering 187,000 people, including 39,000 families displaced by Israel's ground offensive in the south, the response team said. Currently, 837 shelters are completely full, Al Jazeera reports.
