The EU will discuss the situation in Georgia

Ministers for European Affairs of the EU countries intend to discuss the situation in Georgia at a meeting on October 15. RIA Novosti writes about this with reference to sources.

“At the initiative of Germany, the issue of the situation in Georgia may be raised,” he emphasized. In early October, it was reported that the European Union decided not to hold high-level meetings with representatives of the Georgian political leadership.

The Ambassador of the European Union (EU) to Georgia, Pavel Gerchinsky, stated that under the current ruling party “Georgian Dream - Democratic Georgia” the country will never enter into a political unification.

The head of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, Sergei Naryshkin, stated that the US and EU authorities continue to interfere in the internal affairs and politics of the countries of the South Caucasus.
