"Ladies and gentlemen, all the nations and countries of the world have to pay a price for the establishment of a new world order. Armenians paid this price to genocide at the beginning of the 20th century in the Ottoman Empire, then in the fight against Nazism, the lives of more than 300,000 soldiers.
All this was the price paid for the approval of the previous world.
This is a very expensive price for our nation.
All of us are representatives of the legislative body here, and we are well aware that the core of the law is humans, the human being who believes in that law. The population of Nagorno-Karabakh believed in the power of international law, but unfortunately the current government and the world deceived and betrayed, leaving them alone in the fight against tyrants.
The world should not allow history to repeat. The new world order must be based on values and laws, not on oil and geopolitical interests. You can say that I am a dreamer, but I believe that I am not the only one.
There is no law in the world to justify the imprisonment and humiliation of Armenians in Baku.
There is no law in the world to justify the forced deportation of the Armenians of Nagorno Karabakh from their homeland. There is no law in the world that will acquit the danger of Azerbaijan's aggression, threats and hatred. We Armenians, we are the doorkeepers of the Christian world.
We should not be alone. Believe me, we need the help and support of the world.
