Statement of the Supreme Body of ARF Armenia:
"The last statement of the head of the administration, born from anti-national, anti-state and anti-scientific thoughts, is nothing more than the destruction and degradation of our nationwide collective rights and self-identity foundations, satisfaction of Turkish-Azerbaijani demands under various disguises.
The statement questioning the fact of the Armenian Genocide is in itself an anti-civilizational behavior of denial, which, along with the fulfillment of the Turkish preconditions, disrespects the fact that more than 4 dozen countries have recognized the Armenian Genocide, and in the case of some countries, criminalized it, as well as the universal efforts and international efforts to prevent the crime of Genocide. the norms of law.
This reprehensible statement belittles the political, scientific, social heritage, our collective struggle and sacrifice generated by different generations of the Armenian people in the direction of the international recognition of the Armenian Genocide.
It is an insult to the memory of the victims of the 1915 Armenian Genocide, one and a half million Armenian martyrs, canonized by the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church.
The Supreme Body of ARF Armenia reaffirms:
• The recognition of the Armenian Genocide, the repossession of the rights of our people is not fun, it is based on international law, the vital demand for the restoration of historical justice, it stems from the strategic interests of the Armenian people and the Armenian statehood.
• Condemning the genocide and eliminating its consequences is a serious basis for excluding and preventing such crimes against humanity.
• Refusal of the demand for the international recognition of the Armenian Genocide, recorded in the RA Declaration of Independence, will not neutralize the hostile, defensive ambitions and security threats against the Republic of Armenia.
We record that carelessly serving the demands and prerequisites of the Turkish-Azerbaijani tandem is a hostile policy, which is a direct challenge to our national security, the existence of our indispensable statehood and the vital interests of Armenians worldwide.
We again appeal to the Armenians, in Armenia and in the Diaspora, to unite around the national-state agendas that stop the disintegration of our statehood."
