The Ministry of Defense issued a message.
"The 1st Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, Chief of the Defense Staff of the Armed Forces, Lt. General Edward Asryan, who is in Brussels on a working visit, had bilateral meetings with Greece and Georgia, private talks with the chiefs of the defense staffs of France and Sweden at the NATO headquarters.
A high level of bilateral cooperation in the field of defense was recorded with the counterparts of Greece and France. Lieutenant General Edward Asryan also highly appreciated the contribution of Athens and Paris in the current efforts of the transformation and development of the Army of the Republic of Armenia.
Practical ways to activate bilateral cooperation were discussed with the Georgian counterpart, especially from the point of view of sharing advanced experience on transformation, and ideas were exchanged with the representative of Sweden on the possibilities of establishing bilateral relations in the field of defense.
