Before making a decision to extend the sanctions against Russia, the European Union should consult with the newly elected US President Donald Trump. This was announced by the Minister of EU Affairs of Hungary, Janos Bok, Reuters reports.
He emphasized that Hungary has not yet decided whether to extend EU restrictions against Russia or not.
"I think it's only natural that before we make a decision to extend it for another six months, we will ask the new US administration what their vision is for the future of the sanctions regime," Boca said.
