Statements by Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk that Russia is allegedly preparing air attacks against Polish and international airlines are not substantiated, said Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the Russian President.
"This is nothing but another groundless accusation against Russia," he said in a conversation with journalists, according to Euromedia24.com.
Peskov drew attention to the fact that Warsaw is "well known for such groundless accusations" and often seeks to maintain "leadership on this path".
On January 15, Tusk met with Vladimir Zelensky, whose presidential term ends in May 2024, and said that Russia was allegedly planning airstrikes "not only against Poland, but also against airlines around the world". Tusk did not provide evidence for his claims.
