2025 On January 16, the eleventh meeting of the State Border Demarcation and Border Security Commission between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan and the State Commission for the Demarcation of the State Border between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia was held at the border of the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan. Under the chairmanship of Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafayev, the RA Foreign Ministry reports.
During the meeting, the Parties continued the exchange of ideas on the issue of the order of border sections/sections for the further implementation of border demarcation works and agreed to start the complex border demarcation works from the northern part, from the crossing point of the borders of the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Azerbaijan and Georgia, and then in the southern direction, from the north south to the border of the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The parties discussed the drafts of relevant guidelines on the procedure for the implementation of demarcation works.
The parties have agreed to coordinate the date and place of the next meeting.
