At the moment, there are 139 operating slaughterhouses, in 2022 there were 99, of which 27 were not operating, in fact 60% were operating, at the moment 12 out of 139 are not operating, that is, 9% are not operating.
In 2024, an inspection control service was carried out at about 4,000 economic operators, of which violations were recorded at 1,100.
According to the annual inspection program, inspection control service was carried out at 912 economic operators, 565 violations were recorded.
As a result of observations and monitoring, there were 60 violations among 637 economic operators.
Livestock epidemic monitoring: 2000 people, 300 violations.
Unscheduled inspections: 400 inspections, 200 violations.
In 2024, approximately 182 million drams of administrative liability measures were applied.
130 business owners had their activities suspended, 64 business owners eliminated the violations and continued their activities.
Food poisoning: 13 cases, 44 people were poisoned without deaths.
There were 104 applications-complaints, actions were taken in 6 cases.
240 hotline complaints, of which 190 were processed.
