"Hraparak" newspaper writes:
"We wrote that on January 10, the relatives of the servicemen who went missing in the 44-day war met with Andranik Kocharyan, a member of the National Assembly, the head of the investigative commission investigating the circumstances of the 44-day war.
During the meeting, an agreement was reached to hold parliamentary hearings, so that parents and relatives could address their concerns to the leaders of the respective structures and hear exhaustive answers. It is planned to hold the hearings at the end of the month, either on January 29 or 30.
The hearings will be held by the commission led by Kocharyan, the director of the National Security Service, the general prosecutor and other officials will be invited.
More than four years after the war, about 200 people are considered missing.
To remind, at the end of the year, on December 27, the parents and relatives of the missing people blocked Baghramyan Avenue for hours, demanding a meeting with Andranik Kocharyan.
They said that they have been trying to meet Kocharyan for a long time, but they have not received a positive response.
The President of the National Assembly, Alen Simonyan, met with the participants of the protest action, after which he announced that in the near future, parliamentary hearings will be held in connection with the raised issue.
