The topic of security guarantees is an integral part of the Ukrainian settlement, but there are no prerequisites for negotiations due to the position of Kiev. This was announced by the press secretary of the Russian President, Dmitry Peskov.
"Of course, this is an integral part of the general topic of the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict," said the representative of the Kremlin, answering the question whether Moscow raised the topic of security guarantees even before the start of the SVO.
"However, since we currently do not have the prerequisites for resuming negotiations, the Ukrainian side refuses to do so, it is premature to talk about this," the press secretary of the president emphasized.
