The current president of Croatia, Zoran Milanović, received 74.66% of the votes in the second round of the presidential elections, processing the data of 99.48% of the polling stations. This is reported by the State Election Commission (SEC), writes TASS.
According to him, Milanović received 1,114,383 votes (74.66%) from 6,720 of 6,755 polling stations. Independent candidate Dragan Primorac, supported by the ruling Croatian Democratic Union Party, received 378,172 votes (25.34%). ). Voter turnout was 44.16%.
In the first round held on December 29 last year, Milanović received the support of 49.09% of the voters, while his main rival Primorak received 19.35%.
