The USA imposed the most severe sanctions against the Russian oil industry

The US Treasury announced the seizure of 183 ships, Gazprom Neft and its subsidiaries, Surgutneftegaz, dozens of oil traders, top managers (including Gazprom Neft chairman of the board Alexander Dyukov), as well as companies that insure ships carrying Russian oil to India ("Alfa-Strakhovani" and "Ingosstrakh") about sanctions against

Great Britain also imposed restrictions on them.

The list includes "Gazprom Neft" oil refineries (Moscow, Omsk), production enterprises "Gazpromneft-Noyabrskneftegaz", "Gazpromneft-Orenburg", etc., its foreign facilities in Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Serbia (NIS), as well as in Luxembourg registered "Gazprom Neft International", Gazprom Neft Shelf and Gazprom Neft Aero, etc.

Restrictions were also imposed on Surgutneftegaz structures: its bank, Kaliningradnefteprodukt, Kirishinefteorgsintez (Kinef) oil refinery and other structures.

Rosneft's structure, Rosneftflot, also came under sanctions.The restrictions also affected several other companies that operate sea vessels.

Sanctions were also applied to 183 ships that are "part of the shadow fleet" or belong to Russian companies. These are the ships that carry the flags of Russia, Panama, Barbados, and Gabon. Among them are not only oil tankers, but also passenger ships, supply ships, etc.

Sanctions were also applied against "Ingosstrakh" and "AlfaStrakhovanie", which deal with marine transport insurance.

Russian enterprises in other sectors of industry that have been subject to sanctions include the Denisovsky Coal Mining and Processing Plant in Yakutia, Kuzbasrazrezugol, Lisk Assembly Blanks Plant, and others.
